How to Promote Your Spiritual Site or Social Page

Example Free Sites

So that I can learn how to manage sites on a variety of free platforms, I created some. You can browse them to see what can be done with them. When I have the time, I try to use their most advanced capabilities just to see what they’ll do.

Allallo @Wordpress.com – not much here, but when I get around to it, I’ll make various kinds of posts so you can see what can be done. I am kind of stalling for the same reason I am slow to do much with the Wix site. I hate the block editor. WordPress was supposed to be easy to use and built for the content heavy poster. They went the way of catering to ad driven types, and I want the classic editor back. The block editor is inaccessible for people with vision issues or some kinds of epilepsy. Way too much blinking and tiny blips and unreadable stuff.

Black Panthster @Blogger – this is a blog I used to actually use to post links to various Panafrican goodies I found. It’s worth a visit just to see what’s there.

Klasher on Wix – an example Wix site so you can at least see what’s possible aesthetically. Wix is good for people who are artists and would like their site to “pop”. Actually using it though, I have to say, is annoying. Block type editors just suck. Give me a template guide separate from the design and let me preview when I want to, not as I’m trying to f&^*$^ type.

Nicole Lasher on Artstation – If you are an artist and don’t do a lot of writing, you may prefer an image forward site like Artstation or DeviantArt. Here’s my page there. Art sites are a good way to have a sort of central home on the web, and they tend to be very freedom oriented but anti fascist at the same time. So you wouldn’t be forced to share space with nazis. They’re also doing better about protecting people’s art from getting ganked for NFT’s. Now, all you have to do is go to the help and report them and they will handle the process for the most part.

Twrt on Bravenet (Bravesites.com) – It’s the standard free site with a subdomain and using a block editor. It does work a bit more smoothly than some others, though the blinking and needing to edit each area by sight is a bit annoying. It’s a good option if you prefer to go with a company that has been around awhile. The worry though is that you can easily get removed if someone gets offended.

This should be enough to get you started. Also, don’t forget to promote your site here. Add your link to the directory.
